I have a lot of videos scheduled to be published during my walk, but I had a depressing moment yesterday, during which I started to feel overwhelmed by all of the AI-generated slop that's taken over YouTube in the form of scripted voices and AI-generated images of "people" on YouTube. Even we introverts appreciate the value of a human touch, and all of this automatically generated content, with its low level of trustworthiness, is just becoming too much. So while there's little I can do, now, regarding what I've already scheduled for the blog (it would take too long to root it all out and replace it), I hereby promise that, from November 15 onward, I will only ever put up videos of real human beings... assuming I can tell who's real and who is isn't. It's still fairly easy to tell, but in a year or two, once AI is programmed to have more of a personality, who knows? It may become impossible to know who's who and what's what. I think Hollywood actors are right to worry about their jobs. (Good.)
