more criticism of "The Rings of Power"

I said I'd confine my video-embedding to the Critical Drinker's and Nerd Cookies's final pronouncements, but some of these videos make some very interesting points that deserve to be shared. So basically, I lied. But in my defense, I think a series that cost a billion dollars to make deserves heaps and heaps of criticism for being such a monumental turd.

First—another hilariously sarcastic take from the Woke Critic:

And here's Eric the Cameraman with his interestingly technical take:

I also like how Eric unintentionally looks both startled and confused all the time.

And two from Nerdrotic:

While there's a Schadenfreudish aspect to seeing such a massive and misguided product fail, it's also kind of sad to realize how many people were involved in the failure—some of whom were complicit in the making of the disaster, and others of whom were simply innocent victims who will now be forever associated with the project. It's as if the Hindenburg had been created by your mortal enemy: you enjoy watching the thing burn to a crisp, but trapped inside the vessel were a bunch of your friends.

But let's end on a humorous note: "The Beans of Power," with Rowan Atkinson in every major role (that thumbnail, a parody of a now-infamous scene, is priceless)—

  1. I can't say I feel any Schadenfreude, just sadness and anger. You had one job, Amazon!
