Ryan Routh, Trump's second would-be assassin, left a note. Spot the errors:
This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job.
I see one error in the first sentence. Do you see any errors in the second sentence? What two problems are there in the third sentence, and how would you fix them?
How about a comma after Trump? Replace the semi-colon with a comma after job. Change whomever to whoever.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I've got.
Good job. You can make me prouder by explaining why.
ReplyDeleteBecause Grammarly said so... (sorry!)
ReplyDeleteYou really don't care to learn the rules, do you. Hopeless. There's a Korean expression: "Like reciting sutras to a cow," i.e., no point in doing it.
