Have you seen the same comparison presented from a (presumably) left-wing point of view? We really live in a messed up world. https://tedbauer.medium.com/is-it-worth-comparing-the-two-435b8c0bfade
ReplyDeleteFrom what I can gather, a few of those talking points about Rittenhouse were already debunked as far back as 2021. Here's a link to a Business Insider article dealing with "six myths" surrounding the Rittenhouse case. This article addresses the meme's first two points. You might have to sign in to the site, as I had to, to see the article. If you'd rather not do that, I'll create a PDF with the article's contents and link you directly to that. The article doesn't address every point made by the meme in Ted Bauer's piece, but the one or two points it does address are enough to make one at least question the legitimacy of that particular meme's attempt at comparison. And the endless debate rolls on...
DeleteFor what it's worth, less wild-eyed rightie sites like Instapundit don't even seem to be covering the Anthony story. I wonder what Ground News (known for bias detection) has to say about all this.
A bit of research led to this black perspective on the matter, point by point re: the meme displayed on Bauer.
