Five Guys is one of my favorite bad-for-you places in the States. YouTuber ShoPhoCho (Korean guy) constantly disses Five Guys in favor of the puny burgers at In-N-Out. He's entitled to his opinion, but on this matter, he's fucking wrong.

Agreed. And you do know that we have Five Guys here now, right?
ReplyDeleteYes; but I shudder to think how expensive it must be.
DeleteYeah, it is expensive-- a regular burger is 13,400 won, while a bacon cheeseburger is 17,400 won. For comparison, Shake Shack is technically cheaper, at 8,900 for a Shackburger and 13,700 for a double Shackburger... but I don't think I've ever ordered a single burger, so in the end I believe it roughly evens out.
DeleteThe bottom line is that you're going to pay through the nose if you want a burger from a popular Western chain. I very rarely eat hamburgers, though, so when I do I feel OK about splurging a little.
I just looked it up, and Like you said, though, they are big burgers.
