rent is going up!

I got a call from the downstairs real-estate office this morning. My rent is going up, from W735,000 to W770,000 a month, starting in June. I also have to confirm this by going downstairs next month and signing the new rental contract. Joy. Just what I need in a time of belt-tightening: higher rent. I didn't think my rent would increase once I put down my W10,000,000 deposit, but I guess it's just like in the States. My rent for my apartment in Front Royal went from $680-ish to $850-ish in three years.
