thank you, readers

Thank you to all the readers who went through my Five Stories in Five Days on Substack. I'll be doing another of these soon, but as I warned, it'll likely be tucked into my paid Substack. The new stories might be sequels to the ones written, or they might be completely different tales, or the next five might be a mixed-up mishmash. I appreciate the comments I got, and I remain amused by how much more traction (i.e., traffic) I got with the final story ("Very, Very Bad Erotica") than with any of the other stories. Second place ("When Mr. Fusion Finally Arrived") got exactly half the visits of the final story. My personal-favorite story ("A Tale of Ass") got exactly a third. You just never know what people are going to like.

Anyway, back to quietly shilling for my ebook. My thanks to the people buying that book as well. The dead-tree version will be out soon.

One last time, those stories are:

1. "When Mr. Fusion Finally Arrived"—Is the ultimate fuel course a net good?
2. "A Tale of Ass"—A sullen boy at a Buddhist temple meets a tiger.
3. "Telekinetically Yours"—Angry, frustrated Marv acquires a superpower.
4. "Alien Life"—A meditation on aliens with the merest trace of a plot.
5. "Very, Very Bad Erotica"—As bad as it sounds. Prepare for disappointment.

The above stories aren't going anywhere, so visit anytime. But the newer batch of stories will probably require you to become a paying subscriber if you want to read them.
