why eating less meat won't save the planet

If being a "green" environmentalist means believing that it's better to live somewhere clean than to live somewhere dirty, then I'm a greenie. If, however, being "green" means believing that the world is going to end in a decade, and that we have to embrace a bunch of unproven—even stupid—woke policies in an effort to "save the planet," then I'm not green at all.

So here comes a fascinating video that tackles and debunks some of the major points made by people who think that cutting back on the consumption of livestock will somehow benefit the environment. One of the more interesting points the video debunks is the oft-repeated claim that "livestock uses X amount of water while crops use far less." In essence, as the video points out, the water that goes into livestock comes right back out again as urine and contributes to the water table. It's not as though the water consumed by livestock is gone forever. In other words, these wild-eyed activists aren't telling the whole story. Give the video a listen:
