I'm normally not a fan of the overly cutesy Korean design aesthetic, but I kind of like the little tiger now appearing on Coke bottles for the Year of the Tiger. This image at least attempts to look a little realistic (unlike Hodori, cough-cough), although I see it's missing whiskers. Whiskers often go missing in cartoon versions of animals; from a design perspective, they can be hard to draw, and they often get lost in the "noise" of the rest of the animal's face (look at Hodori again and tell me those whiskers leap out at you). The above design lacks whiskers, but it's charming all the same. Thumbs up.
