guess who's retiring in Yangsan?

I know the city of Yangsan fairly well because it's the second-to-last stop on my hike along the Four Rivers bike trail. According to the ROK Drop blog, President Moon Jae-in will be retiring there. I left the following comment at the blog:

Yangsan! When I hike the 630-km Four Rivers trail, Yangsan is my second-to-last stop on the trek. The modest, little city sits right on top of Busan, and it’s a straight shot south to walk from Yangsan’s downtown along the bike path to the Nakdong River Estuary that marks the final point on the trail. It’s an awesome, roughly 28-29K walk if you do it in the spring or the fall, and a great way to end a great path. I’ll be sure to say hi to Moon the next time I find myself down that way. (Okay, probably not.)

My coworker, back from Jeju, informed me that he didn't have to deal with any vaccine passes to get down to Jeju, so there's a good chance I might do the 425K Jeju Olleh loop this year instead of my beloved Four Rivers path. But if I don't do Jeju, I'm definitely doing the Four Rivers again, and if I do do Jeju, I can still do segments of the Four Rivers path through the rest of fall and partway into winter (as long as the path isn't snowed or iced over).
