Matt Walsh on how the left is freaking out about being labeled "groomers"

Ever heard the term "groomer"? It refers to pedophiles who "groom" underage kids, priming them in ways subtle and unsubtle for, to put it bluntly, sexual abuse. "OK, groomer" has gained popularity as a quip among righties. It's a riff off the expression "OK, Boomer," which became popular maybe two years ago.

In the video below, rightie talking head Matt Walsh highlights the hypocrisy of lefties who have spent years calling righties Nazis and other epithets, and who suddenly turn around and act scandalized about being called "groomers" in response to what the right sees as an increasing acceptance of (and growing subculture promoting) pedophilia. A lot of the current debate centers on the so-called "Don't Say Gay" bill in Florida, which would ban the teaching of any sort of sexuality to kids ranging in age from kindergarten through the third grade. I find the bill pretty innocuous (my school didn't start sex education until we were in the fifth grade), and my understanding is that a majority of people who finally hear what the bill is actually about either end up supporting the bill or at least stop railing against it. Calling it the "Don't Say Gay" bill is perniciously misleading.

Part of the debate centers, too, on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who is likely to become the newest member of the Supreme Court. During Jackson's nomination hearing, it came out that she has had a pattern of being lenient in sentencing sex offenders, especially child pornographers and their ilk. Explanations for her leniency have done little to convince her questioners on the right that she's fit for the office of Supreme Court Justice. From the rightie perspective, Jackson seems to have been doing the groomers' work.

All that said, here's Matt Walsh:
