I'm on a bus, on my way to Goesan-gun (괴산군). From there, I'll be taking a cab out to Yeonpoong-myeon (연풍면), then walking a section of the Saejae part of the Four Rivers path. All told, it should be about 26 kilometers. Getting to the starting point is the easy part, but I'm curious to see whether I can use my Kakao Taxi app at the end of the trail to summon a cab and get a ride to the nearest express-bus terminal or train station. Luckily, the weather today will be awesome, so that's not a concern.
The section I'm doing today begins with a 5K hill, but the grade isn't that steep, so it's not as bad as it sounds. Still, I'll celebrate reaching the hilltop by downing a bottle of water. It's the little things in life that matter.
More once I'm back in Seoul.
