a bit of entertainment

Skallagrim enjoyed "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves," but he's got some questions about the weapons that appear in the film.

I like reading the Korea-related news at ROK Drop, but I wish the guy running the place would proofread himself. It's almost guaranteed that there'll be a typo or other mistake somewhere, including in the titles of his blog posts. This one's amusing; see if you catch it:

Kim Yo-Jong Claims US Reconnaissance Aircraft Violated Its Airspace

  1. Replace "its" with "DPRK" and you're good to go. Unless Kim Yo-Jong has changed her pronouns and developed an extremely expanded sense of personal space.

I also thought the weapons in the D&D film were kind of ridiculous, especially Xenk's sword, but also the fact the Holga's axe would have lost all temper had it actually been heated to glowing like that. I also didn't care too much because the film was otherwise awesome.

  2. I guess the in-universe answer to all the weapons' flaws is, "They're enhanced by magic."
