"Their biological sex will always be male."

If you've followed me for years, you know I'm pretty libertarian about the whole trans thing. If you're a mature, autonomous adult not intent on harming anyone else, do what you want with your body. That said, I've made clear that there are obvious situations in which being trans becomes a moral issue: biological males competing in women's sports being the signal example. I'm not convinced you're necessarily insane if you're a man convinced he's a woman, but if you're an XY who wants to compete in in the XX domain, then you're unfairly squeezing out the actual, biological women. Hence all the cruel jokes, these days, about how men are better at being women than women are. In track, in weightlifting, and especially in martial arts, there is absolutely no call for so-called trans men to compete with biological women (whom the left calls "cis-women").

I am slowly changing in one respect, though: trans people insist it's enough simply to declare yourself trans to be trans. I disagree. I think, to be truly trans, you have to get the surgery and the hormone treatments. It's not just a matter of your mental commitments. With the current situation, we have comedians like Zuby temporarily declaring themselves to be women, then breaking all sorts of records in female weightlifting competitions. Zuby obviously did this to make a point, but it's roughly the point I'm also making: simply declaring yourself a woman doesn't make you a woman. And as many on the right have noted: why does all of this flow only one way? Why don't we see biological women become "male," then compete in male sports? The reason why is obvious, but let me hear you say it. If you're honest enough to.

  1. They don't compete as males because they are losers.

I'm completely on board with your position on this whole trans-movement travesty. Live your life your way as long as you are not hurting others. Competing against biological women as a biological males is unfair and wrong. The science is settled.
