The boss saw that I still looked under the weather, so he sent me home early today. I did my standard sock check, and... nada. No stain of any kind. While impatience demands that I declare myself totally healed, prudence cautions that I hold off on any declarations until I've done a few long walks while not wearing any bandages. My suspicion is that I've healed to the point where my toe wound is no longer at risk at reopening when I walk, but that has yet to be confirmed. More news later. And you didn't need a photo of a sock with no stain, did you?

Honestly, a photo of a sock with no stain would be more palatable than what you usually put up.
