how things looked at lunchtime today in Gaepo-dong, my neighborhood |
Is God trying to tell me something? Don't go down to Daegu, Kevin. If you get on that express bus, it's gonna skip off the road and roll down a hill, and you'll either die or be a mangled cripple for the rest of your fucking pitiful life.
I dunno... Daegu is still looking remarkably clear on the radar map. No, scratch that: there's a forecast of snow on the 29th, the day I arrive in Daegu, but it's only a quick snow at 2 a.m., then Daegu's daytime temps will be as high as 7°C (45°F, thin-jacket weather), so there'll be no accumulation on the ground. In theory, then, the first couple days of the walk ought to be okay, weather-wise. What happens after that... I'll be checking daily.
