While it's exasperating to see Frankenstein get re-adapted yet again, it's Guillermo goddamn del Toro this time, so of course I'm motivated to see this. Like a lot of people, I still ache thinking about could have been had del Toro made "The Hobbit" instead of Peter Jackson. If you watch "Hellboy II," you get an inkling of del Toro's idea of Elves. Strangely, his Elves have a lot in common with Jackson's (and, I guess, Tolkien's).
