the update update

It is finished. I've updated my scheduled Substack posts: I have enough grammar-related posts (which take time to write) to last through the walk. In fact, I have enough The Superficial posts to last to the beginning of December, and I have enough The Profound posts to last through November 17 (I return from the walk on the 15th). I also now have enough The Creative posts to last me through the end of December. And with my three newest quizzes up for my paying subscribers, I think I'm free, now, to just prep for my walk. I do need to get walking so I can determine whether I've got my angina managed. If it's bothering me now, how much worse could it be once I'm on the trail? So the walks I do over the next few days will determine whether I need to cancel.

Otherwise, getting all of this work done in advance of the walk feels liberating. Let's focus on videography from now until my departure date. I want to get good with lighting, graphics, and possibly animated text (and maybe other animations). Not that I have any hope of producing anything before I leave, but I can at least start working on this, the next step in my evolution as a budding online personality.
