weather

It looks as though the rains will finally be over after tomorrow morning, so I'll be at liberty to walk outside again. In the past, I've had no trouble walking in the rain, but these days, with the precarious state of my health, and with memories of last year's rain-caused disaster in my head, I'm much less enthusiastic about walking long distances with wet feet, especially for practice walks (why risk unnecessary injury?). So while I'll surely walk in the rain during this year's walk if that proves necessary, I'd rather avoid walking in the rain before then. From what I see, it'll be a string of rainless days from tomorrow afternoon to almost the end of the month (the National Weather Service's calendar currently shows the weather up to the 26th, the day I leave for Busan). So—as of tomorrow, no more excuses. It's time to get a-walkin.
