I looked at the photos and it looked interesting. In the 1860s New Zealand was going through the New Zealand Wars. Some pretty interesting little battles but nothing on the scale of the ACW. I would like to go on a tour of the US one day and see where some of these events took place. I have only been to one battle site in NZ called Rangiruru (I think). Nothing there now except for a motorway and a cairn.
