Think Like a Teacher now available in paperback form!

You're old-school, and you don't like Kindle e-books. Well, my friend, you're in luck! My book, Think Like a Teacher: A Parent's Guide to the Basic Principles of Homeschooling, is now for sale as both an e-book and a paperback (which means you can now search for my book on Amazon's main page). To be frank, the e-book version is a heck of a lot cheaper at $2.99. The paperback retails for $6.95, which won't break the bank, but it still feels a bit steep for an 88-page booklet. That said, if you're in the States (Amazon apparently can't ship a booklet to Korea; I suspected this would be the case, which is one reason why I'm trying to get hard copies made here in Seoul), here's your chance to get hold of this little gem.

Right, lads, get to it!

You'll note the front cover looks slightly different compared to the e-book version. I had to wrestle and wrestle with Amazon about the print book's cover: there were questions about the tiny text on the book's spine, and I finally resolved the matter by blacking out the spine. So now, there's no spine text, which I think is okay for a booklet that's barely 4-5 mm thick.

I'm going to see about changing the book's price. It'll cut my profits, but it'll make the book more affordable to the hoi polloi.

UPDATE: the book is now $4.95. I'm not getting even a dollar's profit from paperbacks, now. See the sacrifices I make for my readership?

UPDATE 2: and now, suddenly, I can get a book shipped to Korea. Go figure.

  1. Well done! Now you've got something for everyone, even those old-school paperback readers.

This has also been a good experience to prepare for your future book efforts. Good luck!

You read my mind. I'm going to blog about this very thing.
