White Day

I completely forgot that today is also White Day in Korea. In East Asia, the romantic days are divided up: February 14 is Valentine's Day, and that's the day the girls do something for their guys (think: Steak and Blowjob Day, but probably without the blowjob). March 14, a month later, is White Day, the day the guys do something for the girls (probably something like Do My Laundry Day or whatever). April 14 will be Black Day, which is for us singletons. On Black Day, if you're single, you traditionally eat jjajang-myeon, or noodles in black-bean sauce, to symbolize the darkness and sadness of being single.

So I'll wish a Happy White Day to all the lucky guys who have to do something for their funny little honeys. Good luck pleasing your ladies. Meanwhile, I'm anticipating my jjajang-myeon.
