Alex Jones—back on Twitter!

Elon Musk took a poll to see whether the people thought Alex Jones—rightie blowhard, conspiracy theorist, and firebrand (who, to be fair, has been shown to be right on a few occasions)—should be allowed back on Twitter. The answer from the people (assuming they weren't bots) was an overwhelming yes. In response, Musk declared on X, Vox populi, vox Dei, as he's done before. ("The voice of the people [is] the voice of God.") And voilà: Jones is back.

What this means for me is absolutely nothing. I'm not a fan of the loudmouth end of either side of the spectrum, whether it's Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow on one end of the spectrum or Alex Jones and Ann Coulter on the other. I've avoided listening to Alex Jones for years, and I plan to continue that streak for the foreseeable future. Let him keep ranting about how frogs are turning gay.
