Obsidian is super sharp—like surgically sharp when it's broken correctly. But I can't imagine that an obsidian weapon would last all that long—especially not in battle. When the guy does his cutting demonstration, he mounts the objects he plans to chop on a bale of hay so as not to let his axe get dull. If he really wants to test his battleaxe, he needs to simulate combat conditions. Still, it's an impressive piece of work. What do you think?
