blog hiccup

I'm not sure what's going on, but most or all of my blog text is currently appearing in boldface. I have no idea why. When I open the editing window in Blogger and hit "preview," the preview version of my posts looks normal. But when I hit "publish," the reader sees boldface. Maybe the problem will go away once sanity returns. Sorry for the hitch.

UPDATE: on my browser at least, the current post (the one you're reading right now) appears to be in normal font, but all of my previous posts remain in boldface. No idea why. Tell me: on your browser, does this post appear to be in boldface? And what about my previous posts? Are they in boldface or not?

UPDATE 2: this problem has apparently occurred before. In my research, I saw questions online about the sudden appearance of boldface font from 2023, 2015, and 2012.

  1. Yup, I'm seeing previous posts in boldface. Weird, but not the end of the world.

    1. I'm noticing that the problem isn't going back forever; it's only a specific set of posts. When I did a search of "review" to find my movie reviews, I noticed that the reviews, including the recent ones, seem not to be bolded at all.

  2. Your words are as bold as ever, but not boldface on my screen.

  3. Oops. I spoke too soon. Scrolling down further into posts I read yesterday morning, some of them are indeed in boldface print. Which is weird because the were not in bold when I first saw them.
