konjac noodles: I cannot abide them

What a waste. I'm throwing out the rest of my konjac noodles. Despite using the boil-then-fry method to try to improve the noodles' taste and texture, I hated eating them even with a little spaghetti sauce. And since I refuse to foist this "food" on anyone else, out the noodles go.

  1. Konjac noodles are fine as long as you don't expect them to taste like actual noodles.

    1. Yeah, I figured as much. I was trying to cover all of that with "taste," even though, yes, taste and texture are different.

What do you think about 도토리묵? Probably not a big fan of that either, I would imagine.

    2. I like 도토리묵, especially with the appropriate 양념장; the 묵 isn't cartilaginous at all. It's more like a very firm Jell-O, and it goes well with whatever veggies are also present.
