SAT problem for you

Not much difference between this and a GRE problem, in my opinion. I encountered this one (well, a problem similar to this one) while helping a student review errors he'd made on a practice SAT.

Have at it.

Area of Sector ABC = 108π

If I'm right, send me a quick email to confirm. Here's how I attacked it.

30degrees for angle ACB = 1/12 of circle.

6π = 1/12 of circumference = 1/12 * 2π * r. So, r = 36.

Area of ABC = 1/12 of area of circle = 1/12 * π * (36)^2 = 108π
