I forgot to mention this when you wrote about watching "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy," but for my money, the best spy flick that I've ever seen (and just recently at that) is John Huston's 1969 masterpiece The Kremlin Letter with its all-star cast and an ending for the ages.
ReplyDeleteSo much for a "brief post." And I left so much out of that entry, too. Like all of my belching exploits. They paled in comparison to what I was doing the next day--apparently I just needed a little warming up. But it's all just shadows compared to my former glory days in college.
