My last group of students will have their final exam at 3PM today. Here's hoping they do well. After that: I grade the tests (as per usual, the kids' utterances will be audio-recorded, then evaluated at my leisure), reconcile and turn in my attendance sheets, plug my grades into the school's computer, scoff at emails from students begging for a few extra points (so they can be bumped up one letter grade), and—voilà: done! And well before Christmas, too. Oh, yes: then I need to pack up my stuff for our Big Move to the new building. Next semester, we'll be across campus, about an eight-minute walk away from our classrooms. Loverly.
