The protests in Hong Kong, which went from a million strong last week to two million protestors this week, have reached a point where citizens have begun clashing violently with authorities. Hong Kong citizens want the extradition bill—which would grant China enormous power to extradite people in Hong Kong for any number of deeds that are not considered crimes in Hong Kong itself—to be repealed and for Chief Executive Carrie Lam to step down.
