book now, Spanish later

If I do this right, I ought to have my movie-review book out (title still pending) sometime this summer—probably by July. I have, however, decided that it won't be tragic if the book isn't out until much later this year, say, around winter. It's going to be a huge book, and I expect there's a ton of formatting issues and typos to deal with, not to mention certain turns of phrase that might need to be changed or otherwise updated. So I'm on a schedule, but if that schedule runs long, then no biggie.

One of my other projects this year is to start learning Spanish. I was just about to click the button of Olly Richards's Spanish Uncovered online program when I decided to hold off and wait until after my movie-review book is done. The reason I want to hold off is that, once you click "yes" to the program, you've got a week's free trial before you're automatically billed nearly $300 for the full program. I don't think I'll have time to do the full program quite yet, so I'd rather wait until after my movie-review book is finished, when I'll be able to give Spanish my undivided attention.

More on all of this later.
