because Hollywood is deliberately failing to learn its lesson

Hollywood will never learn that it's been out of touch with what audiences want for several years now, and it will continue to lose money as long as it keeps putting ideology before quality. Disney's losses are in the billions at this point, so this isn't some minor thing: there is a very real and very deep disconnect between big-studio creators and the general public. This is what makes the "South Park" concept of the Panderverse so relevant and so trenchant. But so far, only the public gets what "South Park" was trying to say. Hollywood, meanwhile, seems to like the taste and smell that come of keeping its head firmly rammed up its ass. Fine by me: with individual content creators on places like YouTube and Rumble putting out product that's more insightful and entertaining than what Hollywood shits out, there's less of a demand for Hollywood nonsense, anyway. This is the voice of the market, loud and clear. If Hollywood really wants a larger piece of the pie, its going to have to wake up and deprogram itself.
