it just keeps getting better for Nikki

Nikki Haley cheated on her husband with at least two different men?

Say it ain't so, Nikki! Say it ain't so!

Headline:

BREAKING: Nikki Haley allegedly cheated on husband with lobbyist AND comms consultant prior to SC governorship

Court documents have revealed that Nikki Haley did, in fact, cheat on her husband before becoming governor, and that one of her lovers was a married South Carolina lobbyist.

Haley repeatedly denied that she'd been unfaithful to her husband, Michael, when allegations first broke in 2010. They've now been married for 28 years, and have two children together.

According to the Daily Mail, the aforementioned lobbyist, Larry Marchant Jr, and Haley's communications consultant, Will Folks, admitted in signed affidavits that they had both, on separate occasions, had affairs with the then-future governor.

By rights, Haley should feel a pang of conscience and drop out of her presidential campaign, what with her unworthiness now on display. She will not, of course: All who gain power are afraid to lose it. The power matters more than her shame. These were signed affidavits, so I think we can assume they're truthful. What a mess. Back in the day, this sort of thing would end a campaign. These days, though, you can be the crack-smoking son of a US president, and no one will do anything to you. You can burn down part of a city, causing millions in property damage, and no one will do anything to you. You can illegally cross a national border, and no one will do anything to you. So fight on, Nikki, you paragon, you!

And President Trump is a paragon of virtue??? LOL

If you are going to slam Nikki Haley and suggest that she should drop out of the race because of this, why would not say the same about Trump?

Nice tu quoque fallacy.

But to indulge you: if you go back through my blog's history, you'll see I actually agree (about Trump's character). But right now, the topic isn't Trump—it's Madame Haley.
