At this point, I'm well past the halfway point but not quite two-thirds of the way to my goal. It's afternoon, and I see three bridges ahead on Naver Map. I cross under two of them and cross over the third. There's almost no shoulder to walk on, so as I did in 2008, I stop and wait on the narrow curb every time a car or truck rolls by. Walk, pause, walk, pause... it's tedious, but I make it across eventually.
One photo shows what I think is a bridge-jumper's suicide message followed by a suicide-hotline number. At least, I think that's what that sign is about.
