new channel to watch: Vlogging Through History

History was one of my least favorite subjects in school, but if a historian can present in a compelling way, I'll pay attention. I've recently watched a few videos by Vlogging Through History (can't find the guy's actual name); the host does long-form videos, so it's a time investment, but I'm thus far enjoying what I've seen. 

Here are two lengthy reaction videos of his, in which he critiques two other YouTubers that I watch: JJ McCullough and History Buffs.



The host identifies as a conservative evangelical, but with deep disagreements with the Republican party, so he is conservative, but not Republican—something I hear a lot these days. Speaking of JJ McCullough, here's JJ's latest:
