snivelling Powder

In my review of "Arcane," I mentioned how annoying Powder/Jinx was, whether as a little girl or as a maniacal teen. Here's the moment, just after Powder has accidentally killed two of the girls' closest friends with one of her homemade bombs, when Vi slaps Powder and abandons her. Your reaction might be different, but I think the animators did too good of a job of animating Powder's weeping, leaking, sopping face:

Decide for yourself, but something about Powder in that scene was very off-putting to me. She was supposed to evoke sympathy and sadness; she did neither. In fact, her cry of "Why did you leave me?" indicates a psychotic self-centeredness when she's just snuffed out the lives of two people. (To be clear, the above clip begins with Vi weeping over Vander's corpse; Vander wasn't killed by Powder: he was stabbed by Silco, then killed by a long fall.)
