Walk Thoughts #45: in Yangpyeong

I didn't want to do this, but I booked a yeogwan for two nights, thus already throwing off my schedule. But given the condition my feet are in, and given how much I walked today (56,911 steps), all I want to do right now is just be horizontal for more than a day.

So expect some blog posts, but maybe not immediately. My feet are a mess, I'm sunburned on my forearms and neck despite two applications of sunscreen, and I was out walking for twelve hours. Once I come out of my regenerative bacta tank, I'll have words and pictures for you. Stay tuned.

Where is this yeogwan with the regenerative bacta tank? I want to stay there.

The yeogwans I've stayed at only have the Wanted-style plaster baths, at best.

Also, it just occurred to me... do you not have a hat? The only way you are going to prevent sunburn is with a broad-brimmed hat, preferably with a flap that hangs down in the back to cover your neck. As far as the forearms go, you could invest in a pair of 토시, which you should be able to find at any place that sells hiking stuff (even those stalls you see at the entrance to hiking trails).

Seriously, sunscreen is nice and all, but when you are exercising and sweating it is not going to be very effective. You'd probably have to apply once an hour to get good results, and even then it would not be as effective as just covering up.

Yeah, I may pick up a hat and some 토시 if I'm near enough to an outdoor store.
