Walk Thoughts #209: photos from today

Today was miserable. Last night should have been an indication of how today was going to go. It rained all day today-- after a forecast constantly promising no rain until the night before the rain happened-- so there were few opportunities to take decent shots of anything, especially with a cracked cell-phone screen that might let in humidity.

Anyway, enjoy these three photos. One pic gives you an idea about how large the mountain I hiked was.

I'm in the town of Namji-eup, which is 9 km short of today's scheduled destination. Lunch was sundubu-jjigae, and it was pretty good, but the banchan (side dishes) were amazingly excellent. Very memorable.
