Still eating my way through the menu. One of my final lunches at the newly discovered downstairs place, Go Jjang, in my soon-to-be-former building:
매콤한 고기 덮밥/maekomhan gogi deopbap, i.e., spicy-meat rice bowl |
a decent number of sides + soup |
wang mandu, or king-sized dumplings |
The mandu were okay, but the spicy-meat rice bowl was great—another favorite found. I may have to come back to this building, once in a while, to revisit this restaurant. The meat, which was pork, tasted strangely like American breakfast sausage despite there being not a trace of sage (from what I saw). Uncanny but tasty.
