probably BS, but I'll await confirmation from outside of China

Chinese "scientists" are claiming to have "cured" diabetes in one patient; he no longer needs insulin injections. I'm sure there's nothing suspicious at all about a claim made from a data set of one person. Perhaps what these "scientists" did—through something called regenerative therapy—was actually valid. For the moment, though, my rule of thumb is that anything to come out of modern China is lame and probably bullshit, so I'll wait until these results get replicated outside of China in multiple countries around the world.

  1. Yeah, that's my comforting thought when considering the increasing likelihood of war with China. All those ships and planes were made in China--how good can they be?
