Some shots of local dogs here. One proved to be a coward when I moved toward it to take a better picture: it stopped barking and retreated into its dog house before coming out again and barking half-heartedly.
There was another uphill moment when I was leaving the town, but this turned out to be only a hill, not a mountain, so Uncle Sashimi's prophecy still holds.
