On the attacks on statues and monuments:
Trump isn't finished by a long shot, so stay anchored in reality, folks:
My take: we're now seeing what it'd be like for the left to take the wheel. Chaos in the cities, Democrat-run areas all finally revealing what shitholes they are (and have been for years)... the evidence is there for anyone with a brain to see. So what are you, as an independent voter, supposed to think? Vote Joe Biden and get more of this shit—more CHAZes and torn-down statues—or vote for the law-and-order candidate who, during his second term, won't feel anywhere near as constrained to act as he sees fit?
Trump will want to leave the country a better place than he found it, so that might mean some strong-arming (or some clever 4-D chess) and a lot of left-liberal screaming and gnashing of teeth. Will we finally see Trump the Dictator? Trump the Tyrant? I think there's a chance we might if Trump really wants to clean the country up within a shortened time frame. More likely, though, we'll hear a lot of bluster from the Oval Office and see some half-hearted efforts at reestablishing order at the state and municipal level, but I think it's going to be more about psy-ops—about pointing the country in a certain direction by the time Trump leaves office in January of 2025. The left, stupid and un-self-aware, hasn't caught on to Trump's psy-ops for four years, so why would they smarten up now?
LANGUAGE NOTE: it's annoying that Styx keeps saying "comport to" when he means "comport with." For a guy who claims to have studied linguistics (which is a bullshit claim), and who makes a career as a self-proclaimed writer and editor, Styx's language skills pretty much suck. I get pilloried by Styx's worshippers in the comments for pointing out Styx's mistakes; according to Styx's blindly loyal fans, I'm missing the point. They're too dumb to realize that you can get the point perfectly while also deploring poor use of language.
