I saw the following ad while walking through Express Bus Terminal Station and couldn't help noticing how normal the white chick looked. In Korean ads, foreigners are never done up to look natural; there’s usually something off about them (though to be fair, we fuck up the same way in the States when portraying Asians and other non-Americans). In the ad below, though, I experienced no alarm bells at all:
Maybe the thumbs-up comes off as a little artificial, but it's better than making her do that goddamn "V" sign.
