Gilbert Gottfried is dead at age 67. Known for his distinctively obnoxious voice and delivery, Gottfried died of recurrent ventricular tachycardia, which is when the lower chambers of the heart beat abnormally quickly. He also suffered from myotonic dystrophy, a muscle-atrophy condition. While Gottfried's persona could be grating, he ended up in some memorable roles, e.g., the Aflac duck on TV commercials and Iago the parrot in the Aladdin movies.
From where I sit at almost age 53, 67 isn't that old. RIP, Gilbert.
You should see that view from 66!
ReplyDeleteI trust you'll do what you can to outlive ol' Gilbert.
