One reason why I walked so slowly, yesterday (nearly 8 hours, with breaks, to go 26K), was that it was a gorgeous day, and I ended up taking nearly 700 photos. Yikes. Uploading them and captioning them is going to be a huge project that might take more than a single day, so please be patient if you see nothing about Saturday's walk today.
Today's cooking project, prompted by my buddy Mike, is to make a regular grilled cheese, a fancier croque monsieur, and some tomato soup—one of my final indulgences before I buckle down and resume dieting and avoiding carbs. Photos of that meal ought to be up today. Stay tuned. Meanwhile, Happy Easter to my Christian readers.
