a walk, then some goodies

It was a long walk tonight: 290 minutes! That's longer than a typical 18K trek down to Bundang. I didn't take many shots, but for what it's worth, here's what I've got:

We've got a lot of water wheels in Virginia, so this feels like home.

My girlfriend is long gone, but her usurper continues to grow.

Another Korean orb-weaver has taken up residence in the same spot.

Here's the Jamshil Bridge—right before it started raining.

After I got home, I took a look at some items I'd ordered. I got two small air purifiers for my apartment, plus a Kenwood meat grinder. Kenwood is a British brand that I've become partial to; after I tossed out my crappy Cuisinart food processor (to be fair, Cuisinart isn't normally crappy), I got a Kenwood, and it's proven to be excellent. I therefore have high hopes for my Kenwood meat grinder. We'll soon see how well it performs.

much meat will be ground, my sweet

So! A good, fulfilling walk followed by a little unboxing. Not bad for a Monday.

  1. Love the shot of the Jamshil bridge.

290 minutes at night, and some of that in the rain. Amazing.

  2. I did a little math, and the distance came out to about 23K. This is the walk I should've done over the weekend.
