if you're gonna use stats, use real stats

CNN Tries to Prop Up Debunked Source for Misleading Mass Shooting Data

A lot hinges on the proper definition of a mass shooting, which the article discusses. Note that most shootings happen in (Democrat-run) urban centers, and most of those shootings involve gangs. As Styx has repeatedly noted, if you factor out suicides* and urban/gang shootings, America's gun-violence stats would be below Europe's. America, minus the shitholes, is a peaceful place to live. And as I've mentioned more than once, if you look at the number of school-shooting victims versus the total American population, you conclude that it's a vanishingly small percentage of people dying in school shootings. Sounds callous, but it's the same sort of rational analysis that one might make for plane-crash deaths.

*The US is one of the few countries to include suicides in its gun-violence stats. Think about that when you hear that the US has some of the worst gun violence in the world. It's all lies, damned lies, and statistics.
