My buddy Neil down in Masan (just above Busan) informed me that a huge typhoon is on the way toward Korea. I had seen the local forecast for a rainy Sunday and Monday but hadn't thought more deeply than that—just rain. The thing heading our way is a monster, and it seems to be tracking pretty much straight north from east of Taiwan right to the Korean peninsula. So this ought to be fun. One last kick in the ass after an overlong monsoon season. In the Busan area, school has already been canceled for the duration.
