Crazy Jenn

Actress Jennifer Lawrence—years ago an up-and-coming talent who could do no wrong, but lately a schlub involved with a series of box-office turds—recently claimed she has nightmares about rightie commentator Tucker Carlson and the recent Supreme Court rulings on abortion (to wit: the striking-down of Roe). The reactions to her goofy sentiments were fierce and swift. Here, first, is a meme that came out, mocking her Carlson nightmare:

Next up is a video response by Matt Walsh, focusing on Jenn's abortion-related sentiments:

I see all of this as the sort of typical Hollywood goofiness we've come to expect from lefties like Rosie O'Donnell, Joy Behar, and Mark Ruffalo. There's nothing particularly surprising about what Jennifer Lawrence said, and the hypocrisy of saying it (as you see with the meme above) is also unsurprising. The right seems to be reacting to this fairly strongly, though, and I can't fathom why. The way to deal with attention whores is the same as how to deal with trolls: just ignore them. The left still hasn't learned this lesson with regard to Donald Trump. I might agree with many or most of Trump's policies, but if we're to be fair and objective, the man is both a troll and an attention whore. Simply not rising to the bait, simply saying Donald who?—these strategies would have killed him dead. But, no—the left, oversensitive as it is, can't help itself, and so time and time again, it keeps hitting that tar baby, miring itself further. The right should learn a similar lesson about not reacting every time another Hollywood idiot says something stupid and hypocritical.
