Wednesday last week, sometime in the afternoon, it was as if a switch had flipped, and the weather went from "tee shirt" to "coat." That day, it was a change between afternoon and evening, but since then, it's been quite cold even during the daytime, often dipping below freezing. A lot of Koreans had been wearing coats long before the switch-flip: I'm convinced they decide what to wear based on what the calendar tells them, not what the actual weather is. But now, it's officially cold—to the point where the weather services are all forecasting snow that's supposed to start tonight and continue, occasionally, into the early afternoon, after which temps will rise well above freezing and probably melt whatever accumulates, if anything. This is, of course, merely Mother Nature's first questing finger between the butt cheeks: I expect there'll be more serious snow sometime this winter as She more aggressively probes our collective asshole. Practice your Kegels: winter is coming.

Snow, you say? I have a vague recollection of something called snow. Haven't seen any for years, though.
